hi, I'm jen

dog trainer and Photographer
Delicate dandelion silhouettes with floating seeds create an elegant nature pattern design.

Hi, my name is Jen. I’ve been a professional dog trainer in Simi Valley, CA for 25 years so I almost always have a leash in my hand... or a camera! I love my job as a dog trainer. It's been my passion, my purpose and the work that's shaped who I am. And now photography has given me a different way to express my creativity. It's taught me to see moments the same way I see dogs - authentic, emotional, and inspiring.

As you can see from my photos, I don't shy away from vivid color and I love using beautiful outdoor settings to tell your story. If you like my style, I'd love to chat.

Life seems to be so busy these days but it's also filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to capture something unique and vivid, meant to be seen and felt.

My approach

I’m laid back and easygoing, and I want you to feel the same way during your session. I’ll guide you just enough to feel confident while keeping everything natural and comfortable. Behind the scenes, every detail is curated so your experience feels elevated and your images feel intentional and beautiful.

I like to start with a phone call or an in-person meeting so I can hear your ideas and share my vision too. We’ll chat about clothing, locations, and what you’re hoping to do with your photos, so your session feels personal and intentional. From there, I’ll take care of the details and make everything feel easy and stress-free.
